The Cackle & the Berry!

Today I'd love to introduce you my very talented and creative partner in Crime, Linda.
I've been working with Lin for almost 3 years and she is amazing.
Originally from Holland, Lin is an award winning artist and is responsible for all of our artistic flair!
She paints the most beautiful canvases and can capture the essence of what we are working on in an instant.
Over the past 12 months Lin has been working hard on the drawings for our first Cackleberry Kids children's book and we can't wait for it to be released later this year. Now we need to make a start on the second book which is all about adventure.

At the moment one of her pet projects is painting the murals for our new concept store; Cackleberry Kids & Friends. We will have some photos soon to share with everyone.
So I guess we are like two peas in a pod..... the Cackle and the Berry!
til next time, have a beautiful day

My Inspiration

Good Afternoon!
Now that we have made the jump into this wonderful world of blogging... the pressure is on to ensure that we write wonderful and interesting things that you would want to read and share with us.... so on went my thinking cap!
Shh... don't tell anyone, but I actually started wondering what on Earth I would write about this morning at 3am!!

So I thought that a good place to start was to share who and what inspires me when I'm working on Cackleberry Kids.

My greatest inspiration comes from my Little Man - Ethan. He has just turned 3 years old and is full of personality and lots of advice on fabrics and colour. He loves being involved and getting right in there to work with us when we are marking up production samples, selecting fabrics, buttons and colours.

We know we are on the right path when he tells us how cool something is or when you see his face light up when he is trying on the various outfits - it certainly does make it all worthwhile when you see the smile.

We take our role in our children's lives so seriously and want to ensure that we give them every opportunity to be happy, loved, confident and ultimately successful.

So that's where I pull my inspiration from.

Enjoy your day!

Introducing Cackleberry Kids

We are a little bit different in that we design and manufacutre specifically for little boys aged 3 months to 6 years of age.

Our clothing is made with love from beautiful and unique fabrics such as 100% cotton, wool, silk wool blends and we are introducing a lovely range of organic cottons for our new spring/summer collection for 2009/2010.

We are all about dressing little boys in Confidence & Style and giving them the support and encouragement to go out into the world and achieve anything they put their minds to.
